I'm having the following issue. I need to install several IHS (4).
I have created a response file for each installation. But the installation manager install the IHS in the same location, always.
I've stripped the response file to the minimum and necessary but I was not able to install 2 different installations. I have attached the resposefile I'm using. The only differences is that instead of IHS1 is IHS2
I don't know if matters, the command I'm using is:
./imcl -acceptLicense -showProgress input /opt/IBM/was_stuff/was8binaries/IHS-response.xml
Any idea will be appreciated.

Re: Install IHS 8 with installation manager2012-06-29T14:32:12Z in response to Danie_BiancoThanks Eric.
I forgot to remove that from the response file. It was one of my attempts to solve the issue
But it still installing the IHS in the same location
I notice that when I start the second installation it modifies the first. It doesn't try to install a new one.
root@IHSServer tools# ./imcl -acceptLicense -showProgress input /opt/IBM/was_stuff/was8binaries/IHS-install.xml
25% 50% 75% 100%
Modified com.ibm.websphere.IHS.v80_22.214.171.12420320_0536 in the /opt/IBM/IHS1 directory.
Re: Install IHS 8 with installation manager2012-06-29T14:49:43Z in response to Danie_BiancoEric, you were right, sorry.
It seems that the all nighter is starting to affect.
As I see it the IM checks the product id before installing. If its the same id it tries to update the installation, if its different it make a new one.
I made this change and I was able to install a new IHS
id='IBM HTTP Server V8.0_1 --> id='IBM HTTP Server V8.0_2
