Pinned topic How to start RDzUT-Z/OS with CICS & DB2

‏2012-06-21T19:16:36Z |
Hello people,

we finished to install RDzUT with succes; we launched IPL with command 'ipl a80 parm 0a82cs' and the system starts. TSO userids can start without problems.

But 0a82cs is a simple configuration; I have to work with DB2 and CICS; I red in the documentation that we have other parameters ( 0a829c 0a829w ) to give IPL with DB2 and CICS but no CICS either DB2 was started.

How can I start RDzUT with DB2 and CICS ?

Thanks in advance

Leonardo

      RDzJohn,

      thanks; CICS & DB2 starts.

The actual problenm is ISPF panels don't have any DB2 Submenu; ISPFPROC is the TSO Logon procedure.

Could you tell me what to do ?

          RDzUTJohn,

As you can see in my last post, I sent two ISPF Panels passing from the first to the second with M but I can't see DB2 item.

You'll need to dig up the command for starting the DB2 panels. As you've noticed, clearly there is no existing option for DB2.
