Pinned topic Debugging?

‏2012-06-17T22:09:29Z |
Hello everyone,

I am dealing with my DB2 Database using CLP.

I have a general questiong regarding the possibility of debugging in DB2. Does a debugging tool exist for DB2?

Thanks for your comments.

Regards,
Ratna

    Hi

    The IBM Data Studio Client allows to do that. This is an Eclipse based tool, that permits to work with Java and other languages, including Stored Procedures in SQL PL and PL/SQL.

    Check the documetion out:
    {http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/dstudio/v3r1/index.jsp}
    Debugging a stored procedure.

    Also, the Toad can do that, but I have never used it.

    From the CLP, I am not sure if this is possible, I have never heard about that.
