Pinned topic Application can't connect to Worklight Server using self-signed certificate

‏2012-06-16T08:48:53Z |
Hi,

Can worklight app connect to server using https with self-signed (not public CA based) certificate?

Our customer tried, but app on android can't connect to WL server.
Web pages (https://server/contents.html) on the same server successfully opened using Android browser, so I guess this is Worklight specific.

Configurations:
  • Using reverse proxy(Apache)
  • Configured SSL self-signed certificate on proxy
  • Communication path
App on Android -(https)-> Proxy -(http)-> Worklight Server 4.2.1

It works when hanging worklightRootURL https://... to http://...

Thanks.

Worklight server uses the JRE's keystore.
In case you want to work with a self-signed certificate you need to import it to the JRE (worklight-server-folder\jre\lib\security\cacerts)
