Pinned topic issue reading simplified Chinese in EDCDIC file

‏2012-06-14T09:40:54Z |
Reading from EBCDIC format file using CFF stage and its working fine for normal Chars (Eng). but the new requirement came is sometime, they are sending "Simplified Chinese" Char in once column and that I need to read.

  • I tried using UTF-8 and change Column extended property to unicode but it showing some wired chars CCUSES(col name):- ç·ê¬!AçQ<Î$Ý.Ù(2%â)íMèµ¢`<§|j

and change Column extended property to unicode but not working.

When I use the any other NLS like(IBM-1388, GKS) I am getting below error:
APT_CombinedOperatorController(0),0: Invalid character(s) (xF0) found converting string (code point(s): @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@xF0xF6xC3xC6xF2xF8xC2@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@...) from codepage UTF-8 to Unicode, substituting.

Please provide inputs how can I read Chinese Chars.
