Pinned topic Worklight standards

‏2012-05-25T12:22:10Z |
Hi,

What are all the Worklight standards required to follow for developing an application in Worklight Studio?

Is it necessary to follow all the Worklight standards like SQL Adapters, HTTP Adapters, etc for local storage and to call web-service in an application developed by Worklight?

Thanks,

There is no such "standard"... There are different technologies and you use them in a way that suits your needs.

It'd be easier to answer if you will explain what it is you are trying to accomplish and we may be able to suggest a way to do so ("big picture").

    Hi Idan,

We develop app, using multi div in single page and managing it, behave of using Multiple Pages and Fragments (Ref from url :- http://worklight.com/download/get-started/4.2.1/module-7.5 ).

As well as we are not using SQL and Http Adapter.

Can we work like this, if not what are things to follow.

    Have a nice day.

    Thank Idan.

Sure, your app can work this way. However do note that if you plan on requesting data from a backend, the Worklight approach is to use Adapters (SQL, HTTP, ...).

Adapters (SQL, HTTP, ...) can I get any working sample on Worklight Adapters (Http, SQLite), I get sample for http://worklight.com/download/get-started/4.2.1/, those are not working.

In Worklight I am using HTML5 SQLite for storage, can I use it.

    Thanks Idan.

    Hi Nanda.

On what environment do you want to deploy your application?
You will have to check if SQLite is supported on that environment.
Why aren't the Worklight adapters sample working for you?

    Hi Ravidor,

I am deploying SQLite application in iOS, Android working fine but I don't know about other mobile platform.

Ok, when I am working in Worklight using SQLite, we are checking.

Sorry i have no idea, why worklight Adapters sample not working.

I don't fine reference calling adapter method from common folders.

    Can you kindly suggest me.

    Thanks for your support Ravidor.
