Pinned topic [Solved] Deployment Problem

‏2012-04-13T07:27:04Z |
Hello all,

I am trying to discover whether its feasible for my company to use worklight to build up some mobile web apps.

I have followed the steps on http://www.worklight.com/download/download-version-4.2.1 got no errors at all during the setup. and then created a very basic worklight project, then a worklight application on it.

but during the build (build all and deploy), i get the following error ;

2012-04-13 19:22:35 Starting build process: application 'Welcome', all environments
2012-04-13 19:22:36 Application 'Welcome' with all environments build finished
2012-04-13 19:22:36 Deploying application 'Welcome' with all environments to Worklight Server...
2012-04-13 19:22:36 Failed deploying application to Worklight Server: Not found; <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN">
<HTML><HEAD>
<TITLE>404 Not found</TITLE>
</HEAD><BODY>

Not found

The requested URL /console/api/applications/upload was not found on this server</BODY></HTML>
then i have tried to create a mobile webapp environment i get a very same error;

2012-04-13 19:23:31 Starting build process: application 'Welcome', all environments
2012-04-13 19:23:32 Application 'Welcome' with all environments build finished
2012-04-13 19:23:32 Deploying application 'Welcome' with all environments to Worklight Server...
2012-04-13 19:23:32 Failed deploying application to Worklight Server: Not found; <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN">
<HTML><HEAD>
<TITLE>404 Not found</TITLE>
</HEAD><BODY>

Not found

The requested URL /console/api/applications/upload was not found on this server</BODY></HTML>

ps. I have Windows7 64 bit

EDIT: I figured it out as another app was using the same port as of Worklight.

    This happens because the port will be used by some other program.

    Please add -Dworklight.port=8081(your new port)

    This will solve the issue.
