Pinned topic How to make Items of activity list clickable

‏2012-04-09T14:37:43Z |
Hi,

I created an RSS feed reader for android platform. I am seeing contents of feed in the emulator. I am not sure how to make those item clickable. I believe I'll need some sort of activity listener for click event and it should open the link. Any help insight will be highly appreciated.

Thanks,
Sid

Well, I assume you have a procedure that retrieves and store the feed contents in some object; I guess you can go over the contents of this object, parse it, separate it, etc... and put parts of it in variables and then put the value of these variables in the HTML and make it clickable and then transform it on click to something else? In general... :)

Theoretically it's clear to me. I can do this with android sdk and Iphone xocde. My question is how to do this with Worklight using js function. Could you please share some example on this?

I'm not sure about it, but you can take a look at Worklight Starter (available in the Get Started page); the adapter used in this application retrieves a feed from Engadget and parses it I believe, and there are links there. Maybe that's a start.
