First, can you check that - using Safari Mobile in the simulator - you can load http://localhost:8080/console?

Second, instead of hostname can you try using your IP as the WorklightRootURL?

    Hi idan,

    1) In Safari Mobile in the simulator - load http://localhost:8080/console then it shows alert Cannot Open Page

    2) And in application-descriptor.xml file
    worklightRootURL - http://${local.hostname}:8080

    i tried with
    worklightRootURL - http://${local.172.18.10.108}:8080

    Same error repeating.

    Thank you.

    Hi.

It seems as if the Worklight Server is not accessible, or not actually running.

How exactly did you start the Worklight Server?
Could it be that you have tried somehow to setup Tomcat and started it, instead of starting the Worklight Server?

Worklight consists of 2 elements, installation-wise:
    • Worklight Server
    • Worklight Studio (Eclipse plug-in)

    Install Worklight using the Installer.
    • You can start the server directly from the last screen in the installation process, or
    • Via the Start Server script in the installation directory, or
    • Via Terminal, by navigating to the bin folder and executing "worklight starter"

No changes should be done in the Eclipse plug-in for starting Worklight Server.

Please see if the above helps.
