Pinned topic try to turn off sysplex routing in db2 connect server 9.7 for linux

‏2012-06-06T08:24:16Z |
Hello,

Our environment include db2 client on windows machine , db2 connect server on linux as a gateway , and db2 for z\os v9.1
We working in the z\os with data sharing.
Our goal is to access a specific member in the data sharing environment.
I saw in the db2 connect 9.7 user guide that in order to do that ,
I need to "If accessing a z/OS data sharing group, the domain name should map to
the DB2 group dynamic VIPA address. This address routes to the least
loaded DB2 member. To access a specific member use the specific DB2
member dynamic VIPA address and turn off sysplex routing."

How do i turn off sysplex routing ?
can't find this.

before i turn off sysplex routing, i would first try to access the specific member directly by using it's ip address
it might work without turning off sysplex routing (which you probably can't do because it is used by other clients as well)

    can't do it , because i want to get 2 members of 6 .
I use vtam vipa that include 2 members , but still connections get to other members.

Try to take a look here

i never tried it, but you are supposed to be able to create a logical group of only some of the members, so this should help you solve your problem
