Hi, I would like to know what version of Cobol that the syntax check based upon when doing the check in the Cobol editor. I.e. is it using Enterprise Cobol or VS COBOL or Cobol II syntax?? I have the remote syntax check enable.

Well, there are 3 types of syntax checking in RDz, and the answer is different for each one.
-LPEX Editor Syntax check: This is based on Enterprise COBOL V4
-Local Syntax Check: This is based on Enterprise COBOL V3
(COBOL for Windows does the checking)
-Remote Syntax CHeck: This is done based on which compiler you point to for your remote (performed on z/OS) syntax check. It could even be VS COBOL II if you modify the setup!
