I am working on JSF 2.0 Development. Currently, I am using the WebSphere Application Server for Developers V8 and Eclipse plugin http://with IBM WebSphere Application Server V8.5 Developer Tools Beta (March Refresh) V8.5 Beta (March Refresh)
When I first time publish the JSF Application on the WAS, the JSF page normally can be loaded. However, I made some changed on the XHTML page and use maven to package and publish to WAS. It normally return message as below:
Error 404: java.io.FileNotFoundException: SRVE0190E: File not found: /views/user_registration.faces
In fact, I already turned off the auto publish from the Eclipse.
I found that if there is delta folder in this path C:\IBM\WebSphere\AppServer\profiles\AppSrv02\config\temp\download\cells\PC07-PCNode01Cell\applications\ear.ear. The error will be reproduced.
I really hope someone can help me out and tell me how to turn the delta update from the WAS.

Re: WAS for Developer 8 disable delta update2012-05-30T20:26:39ZThis is the accepted answer. This is the accepted answer.Hi - we try to limit this WAS Trial forum to questions and answers about the initial installation and configuration of WAS Trial versions and WAS for Developers.
Since you are using the WAS8.5 Beta, please post your question to the WAS 8.5 Beta forum: http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/forums/forum.jspa?forumID=2666
Our WAS 8.5 developers will be better able to address your question there.
