In Controller 10.1, is there a way to set up an account, not an statistical one, with two decimal places? User needs to report General Balance and P&L with two decimal places.
Thanks.

    Hi,
I suggest you use IBM Cognos 8 Controller Online Demo. This demo unlocks some questions in my mind. IBM Cognos and Controller is great help for financial consolidation of reports.

By design, it is not possible to set up decimal places in a main or main connected account.

Decimals are defined by the currency type, not by the individual account for trial balance accounts. This is logical in the context that Controller expects your trial balance to balance to the penny. If some accounts were collected by decimals and others were not, you would have a trial balance that did not balance - unless of course you rounded the data via the import spec or via manual data entry but that would not make a lot of sense.
