I am new to HATS and amazed at the ease of use. But for components that are not recognized as components, I am not sure where to begin.
A - Alpha Customer Search
I - Individual Customer#
P - Phone# Search
S - State/alpha Customer Search
Z - Zip Search
I would like to have each line as a link that uses A-I-P-S-Z as input and then presses enter.
Using text replace I can make the text line as a url and have Enter used, but no idea how to change input.
Not sure if this is a good place to evoke macros or not.
Any feedback appreciated.

Re: Rendering Input Fields with Text Option List2012-05-24T12:48:16Z in response to SystemAdminHi Mark,
This sounds like a simple case to use the selection list component and render it using the link widget. This allows you to turn each option into a link and when clicked it will fill in the value into a specified input field and you can use the auto submit feature to send the enter key. There should be no need to add any type of global rules or macros. This is a basic feature of HATS. You can search for selection list on this page, http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/hatshelp/v80/topic/com.ibm.hats.doc/doc/ugcwset.htm.
Re: Rendering Input Fields with Text Option List2012-06-20T16:56:03Z in response to tmparkerI used Global Rules and text replacement for 28 screens.
All works and simple.
So, I can also create widgets and components specifically for each input.
Trying to see how to create a widget now...
