Pinned topic Compute node install failure

‏2012-05-23T02:24:18Z |
I am trying to install a compute node as part of the SCP install, and it is finding the usb network that is internal to the iDataPlex and trying to use that for a network.
Is there some way to disable this internal network? Or get SCP to not use it for on the compute nodes.

Thanks
Ken

It is the underlying OS instead of SCP installer that identified the USB device as a network device. It's quite common in rack servers and blade servers. There should exists other "normal" network devices, identified by the OS as ethX, and these devices will be used for real network traffic. What do you mean by "install failure"? How did you get that conclusion?
