Pinned topic OLD 7012 Integrated Ethernet Adaptor Settings

‏2012-05-22T20:56:21Z |
I have an old 7012-360 that I need to stick on the network for some data reference. It has an Integrated Ethernet Adaptor (devices.mca.8ef2). Does anyone know what speed/duplex settings this is set to so I can match my switch port? It apparently is fixed as there are no options to change these settings.

I thought that was 10 base T on the integrated adapter but there is a jumper on the riser card, it should be in the "on" position for 10 base T.

I guess I should add this. The only connections on this is a 10Base2 (coax) and 10Base5 (thicknet). I am using a MAU on the thicknet connection to get my twosted pair (10BaseT) type connection.

Wow! A vampire tap MAU... my vision is going all wavy and everyone around me seems to have beards and wear flares...

Anyway, patch it in to a 10/half and it'll work even if it's full. It won't be fast but then it never was!

7012, vampire tap...old school! i suppose it could have been worse if you were forced to use a null modem cable. good luck and let me know when it's on ebay.
