How can one add accumulated CICS changes into RAA, without RAA deletes the old information in the specified CICS regions?
This is to avoid a lot of Run unit rebuild requests, for transactions which haven't changed.
The below input was what we have made to add 1 CICS transaction (ECTC) to CICS region CICTRAA, but the result is that the old information in CICS region CICTRAA is gone, and we only have the ECTC transaction left.
We are at RAA v188.8.131.52 on zOS
Example of input format for changed CICS information:
FMT REGION 1
START REGION CICTRAA
TRAN ECTC EC

Re: RAA and CICS load2012-05-21T17:06:50Z in response to E125901) The CICS region updates are not additive, they assume the information is from a given CSD and replace all dependent transactions.
2) The CICS region load, which associates TRANSACTION assets with RUN UNIT assets, does not request run unit rebuild requests. If a run unit is in the RAA database, and it is in the COMPLETE state, it will not be rebuilt. The run unit rebuild requests are auto-generated each time the analysis queue is processed for those run unit(s) which are not in the COMPLETE state.
