Pinned topic No stat_mta libraries for CP optimizer

‏2012-05-18T21:36:31Z |
I've noticed that CP Optimizer only has stat_mda (DLL runtime) libraries and no stat_mta (static runtime) libraries:

cpoptimizer/
lib/
x86_.net2005_8.0/
stat_mda/
cp.lib
x86_windows_vs2008/
stat_mda/
cp.lib

while CPLEX and Concert have both variants compiled with DLL and static runtimes.

Why are there no libraries compiled with static runtime for CP Optimizer?

Thanks,
Victor

    Hello Victor.

    You are right, CP Optimizer does not deliver stat_mta libraries right now.
    I'm sorry, I cannot discuss here the reasons behind that.
    Could you use stat_mda instead?

    Best regards, Petr

    Hi. I can use stat_mda libraries, it's not a big deal.
    Thanks,

    Dear System admin

    I think I have problem with linking CP to your test problems. I used Microsoft visual studio 2008 .netframework and

    I  added

    H:\ILOG\CPLEX_Studio_Preview122\cpoptimizer\include;

    H:\ILOG\CPLEX_Studio_Preview122\concert\include

    to c/c++->general

    and also :

    H:\ILOG\CPLEX_Studio_Preview122\concert\lib\x86_.net2005_8.0\stat_mta\concert.lib
    H:\ILOG\CPLEX_Studio_Preview122\cpoptimizer\lib\x86_.net2005_8.0\stat_mda\cp.lib

    to Linker->input

    but unfortunatelly there is too many bug errors telling me that I have done something wrong, maybe I don't know how to add CP to my project, could you please tell me how should I do that?
