I have successfully installed WP Server 8.0 with WAS ND through installation wizard on Windows 7.
After that, I tried to verify WCM functionality. Unfortunately, Web Content Viewer doesn't show "New" button to create items.I am not sure, what I missed out.
My wkplc.properties shows below information
I haven't for any error on systemout.log file. Do I need to install WP Enable/Extend other than WP Server.
Please clarify my problem.

Re: WCM 8.0 (New button is not visible to create items) issue2012-05-31T21:05:19Z in response to joseosorIf you install base portal you don't have the license rights to create new content that's why the "New" button is hidden.
If you upgrade to a full WCM license/install that "New" button will show up (there is a description in the info center on how to do this upgrade, like here: http://infolib.lotus.com/resources/portal/8.0.0/doc/en_us/PT800ACD001/install/linux_inst_upsell.html)

We downloaded the websphere portal using passport advantage and then during installation selected 'Full Installation' -
Is there anything other licence or anything else required for this to work ?

Re: WCM 8.0 (New button is not visible to create items) issue2012-09-27T14:37:15Z in response to SystemAdminHi - It may be helpful to scan the documentation and video tutorial that covers the install processes. Your IBM Passport account should present you with the software you have purchased and can download (for example WebSphere Portal Server, and/or other WebSphere Portal offerings such as Enable or Extend that would also include (full) Web Content Manager. You can find the documentation and videos that show the process here: http://infolib.lotus.com/resources/gs/portal8/
