I am trying to store a file that has a custom (unrecognized) extension. Like 'filename.nitro_s'
When the file is downloaded the extension is stripped. Is there anything I can do about this? It sounds like it might not be an issue with a newer version of Connections Files.
There isn't an issue with PDF etc.

Is it possible to store the file using a more common file extension, such as .zip?

I did end up being forced to wrap it in a zip while I waited for an answer. I was trying to keep it as simple as possible for the users, which is why I was trying to find method to post it directly. I was sort of hoping that someone would point me at a magic process where I can make a request to the Admin to have an extension registered on the server, since it is an extension used for a shipping IBM Forms product.
