I need to load a boolean expression into an input field from instance data. A typical expression might be "(A < Z) & (A != 5)". However, as is documented, unless I escape the < and & symbols, the form will not parse correctly and so will fail to load. However, if I escape them, i.e. "(A < Z) & (A != 5)", they show up in exactly this form in the input field. Ugly. Any ideas on how to handle the & and < symbols so that the expression shows up in the input box unescaped and editable? Thanks in advance.

Could you please tell which XForms implementation you are using for this?

    Thanks!
