In looking for more information concerning CMIS in connection with IBM/FileNet I found some hints concerning FileNet P8 Content Manager. Since we have been running several IBM FileNet Image Services I'm interested in CMIS in connection to FileNet IS.
Is FileNet IS "too old" to be appropriate with CMIS. Does someone have experience with FileNet IS and CMIS?

Re: CMIS & FileNet Image Services: Can CMIS be used with FileNet Image Services2012-05-02T22:57:53Z in response to JAHuckSince there are already facilities for accessing IS content via P8 (which in turn can be accessed via FN CMIS) there has not been a lot of customer demand for a native/direct IS CMIS. However I have heard of a customer who built a custom CMIS Impl on IS using Apache Chemistry in a matter of weeks. Are you familiar with the Server side aspects of Apache Chemistry OpenCMIS?
