We are using Access Manager with Cognos 7.4 and there doesn't seem to be anybody that has the password for a couple of the default.csa files. The files define user access for a particular server and I need to gain Creator access to some catalogs on that server. I've tried the default passwords without success.
I would prefer to not re-create these catalogs as I dont know exactly what databases and tables are used (the names/fields are aliased). Is it possible to get access to these files without the password? Does Cognos Support have a utility to access the password?

Re: Access Manager lost password options2012-06-05T17:10:24Z in response to BobznkazooI have heard there is an IBM utility that comes with Cognos called "CatalogPickLock.exe" and this utility allows the user to reset the password for a catalog. Is this tool available online? or is it only on the installation media(CD/DVD)?
