Pinned topic Undo a deletion of a row from a the db2 table ICMUT00202001

‏2012-04-23T17:44:54Z |
Hello all,

I accidently deleted a row (which means, a work basket) from the table ICMUT00202001 using the SQL command "delete from...".

Is there a way to undo this deletion, or it is hopeless?

Thanks,

Kanaty

Before you issued the delete, did you have any DB backup that you can restore? Or did you export the table that you can import the record back?

If you didnt do any DB level backup, did you export your document routing definition into the XML files from System Admin? ICMUT00202001 is a definition table of your worknodes. If you have the XML files, you could import it back. However, you probably still lose the work packages associated with that work node.

    Hello mangrongho,

Thank you for your response. I managed to find the data of the row which was deleted. However, I am having troubles with the columns "CREATETS" and "LASTCHANGEDTS" inside the table "ICMUT00202001". The value of the column "CREATETS" that existed in the row which I have deleted is "11:15:47 04/04/2006 694001", and the value of the column "LASTCHANGEDTS" was "14:10:56 07/06/2006 991000", but I cannot add these values to the table, not with an SQL command and not with adding a row to table through the DB2 Control Center. The error meassage regarding the SQL command ia "During SQL processing it returned: SQL0180N The syntax of the string representation of a datetime value is incorrect. SQLSTATE=22007".

How can I import this data back to the system?

    Thanks.

    Hi mangrongho,

I managed to add the row back inside the table. Now I have to return the item which existed inside this worknode back inside, but this is a different matter, which I think I will be able to handle. Thank you very much for your help.
