Pinned topic Error while accesing Web Service Proxy wsdl (SSL front side handler)

‏2012-04-20T08:26:58Z |
Hi,

i have created a Web-Service proxy with HTTPS (SSL) Front Side Handler, everything went well and there are no errors reported in datapower but when i try to invoke the wsdl from curl its reporting the following error

curl -k -v https://datapower:443/RPCLIT/RPCLIT?wsdl
  • About to connect() to datapower port 443
  • Trying ...... connected
  • Connected to datapower (*...*) port 443
  • successfully set certificate verify locations:
  • CAfile: /etc/pki/tls/certs/ca-bundle.crt
CApath: none
  • SSLv2, Client hello (1):
Unknown SSL protocol error in connection to datapower:443
  • Closing connection #0
curl: (35) Unknown SSL protocol error in connection to datapower:443

when i try to invoke it from browser it says "cant display the page"
i am using Forword SSL and my Backend wsdl is running in HTTP.

what am i missing here?
thanks,
Balaji

The Front Side Handler SSL Proxy Profile needs to be a reverse SSL Proxy Profile, specifying Identification Credentials with the private key and server side certificate that is presented in the SSL Handshake. Forward SSL Proxy Profiles are used for backside connections when DataPower is acting as a client in the handshake.

    Best Regards,
