I have been a DOORS user for a long time, but have never had a need to write DXL because my former company had people who did those things for us. Now I am in a new company where DOORS is a new tool and there is no support internally. I would like to recreate some of the DXL scripts that we had available previously.
First on the list is a script to allow modifying table properties without using the terrible interface that DOORS provides. For instance, setting a column width, setting the border style for the table, etc. If someone can help me with the basics, I would be most appreciative.

Otherwise, sweet-talk a buddy over there to do that for you. It will be far easier for you to learn DXL if you start off modifying existing and working code.

Re: DXL script to set DOORS Table column width and Border style2012-04-17T17:30:05Z in response to llandaleThe "other company" I referenced was a defense contractor where having a USB stick on your person was grounds for dismissal, so sadly, I don't have the code from the DXL scripts that I had used in the past. I do agree that is the best way to start, but it isn't an option in this case....
