Pinned topic Tivoli Enterprise Port 6.2.2 Navigator Show Different Oracle Instance

‏2012-04-16T16:28:38Z |
Greetings -

In the navigator screen for Oracle monitoring it shows all the
instances running on that server. Everything looked great.
Then I come in one morning and one of the instance has been renamed.

Instead of 'db101' it says 'Oracle - db101' and I do not see how
to change it back.

Thanks in advance for any help. The docs are mute on this.

Right click on the Navigator Item, go to Properties and rename it according to your belongings.

    hope this helps

    Thanks for that quick response.

I can see the property sheet but I guess I need more rights
then I have. Everything is grayed out except for a check box on
'Assign as Home Workspace' and 'Always open workspace in a new window'.

Do you know what right I need ?

    Thanks again for your help.

Left-Mouse-Button click on the Navigator Item to select it (optional action) and position the mouse pointer on the Item (mandatory)
Right-Mouse-Button click to open the associated popup menu
Click on Properties menu item (usually last one).
In the Navigator Item Properties change the name (Name:) entry to what you want it.

    Thanks for all the help.

Everyone was exactly right about how to change it.

I needed someone with the 'Workspace Author Mode' permission to
    actually do it.

    Thanks again
