Hi Scott, I'm sorry you've having trouble. Can you send me the URL for the page you were on when you tried to connect to the trial? And can you tell me what the name of the trial is?

      Thank you,

      Hi Scott,

What happens when you try to connect to this online trial? I am able to log in, so I suspect the problem is related to a firewall setting. Do any of the error message in our FAQs match what you're seeing? Please check here:
      http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/downloads/connection-faqs.html

If you can give me some more information, I'll try to find someone who can help. Thank you.

Can somebody call me to help? I'm looking to buy this software and, at this point, I'm not impressed with IBM or their customer service.

I have fixed the firewall issue. Now, I'm able to see the Applications window. There is RSA, and 2 WTX exercises. I clicked on the RSA icon, and now I have a Citrix Viewer open, but nothing comes up. No RSA software.

Are you using Citrix Receiver plug-in? When the exercise starts, you should see three dialogs open after Citrix starts:

      1) Windows Command Dialog that opens C:\start_RSAEX1.bat
      2) System Architect - localserver(SOA Sandbox Demo) remote
      3) SOA Sandbox Tutorial Viewer v1.0

If you see only the one of these, or none, something is preventing Citrix from starting the batch file. When it opens, you want to leave open => do not close it.

Can you provide additional details are workstation and version of Citrix you are using?

We had successful connection with machine configured as follows:

      Mac OS 10.6.8
      Safari 5.1.5
      Citrix Receiver 11.4.3

After clearing the registration process and clicking the Rational System Architect Icon in the MetaFrame window, you should be prompted by your OS to Confirm / Deny the starting of an applet. The default option is Deny, and if you miss this dialog b/c it is hidden, or maybe Firefox doesn't display properly, the connection times out.

After we clicked Confirm, the exercise software and instructions started as designed. We experienced no issues in terms of use and / or remaining connected.
