Using IDMT to transfer data from an Oracle database to DB2 using pipes seems to require space for the intermediate storage of LOBs.
This is not documented, is this a limitation of IDMT, pipes or DB2's LOAD command?
Does this also apply to XML data?

Re: Data transfer using pipes needs space for LOBs2012-04-11T14:57:33Z in response to samamarGood catch. When pipes are used, blob, clob and xml data is still unloaded to the filesystem and they are not put on the pipe. I guess that I have not spent time to figure this out how to put LOBS data on the pipe.
