Dear Forum Colleagues,
I'm now extracting the DDL by using IDMT. I got "failed" in extracting an Oracle function that contains the directive PRAGMA AUTONOMOUS TRANSACTION. I know that DB2 9.7 does support the Autonomous Transactions as well, and that DB2 understands such a PL/SQL directive (as written in the Red Book <Oracle to DB2 Conversion Guide: Compatibility Made Easy>. Therefore my question is: could anyone please explain to me how to setup IDMT in order to import the object and adjust the syntax ?

Re: Autonomous Transactions2012-04-13T16:38:45Z in response to SystemAdminYou'll need to replace the PRAGMA with the AUTONOMOUS clause of the CREATE PROCEDURE statement. I doubt that IDMT can do it automatically, so it's up to you to make the change. Check this example: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/db2luw/v9r7/topic/com.ibm.db2.luw.apdv.sample.doc/doc/admin_scripts/s-autonomous_transaction-db2.html
