Hi all

can some one explain which is the easy way to activate the trace mode ?? where i find the trace files ??

i have tried to change the /runtime.properties (under /WEB-INF) : i added trace.RUNTIME=9 but it seem not work

    You have 2 ways of turning on tracing in HATS. You can either do it through the HATS Admin Console or, if you don't have that deployed, you can modify the runtime.properties directly. If you want to modify the runtime.properties you can read about each setting here, http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/hatshelp/v80/topic/com.ibm.hats.doc/doc/ugrunprp.htm. When tracing it turned on, by default, it writes the trace files to the logs directory in the EAR. You can find this documented in the traceLogDirectory property on the webpage I referenced above. You will also find helpful information in the comments at the top of the runtime.properties file itself.
