Would like to know and understand how many total number of connections on Queue manager object of DataPower XI50 can be configured upto given, say the zOS queue manager has a max connection limit of 100. First, the zOS QM is dedicated for XI50. Second assume there is only one DataPower XI50 and one QM object only for simplicity.
What would be the impact, if any, if the DataPower XI50 has a Total Connection Limit set to 120 ?
What is the best value for setting a total connection limit in DataPower MQ QM object?

Re: Maximum connections to be configured using DataPower on MQ2012-03-25T04:27:58Z in response to SystemAdminThe purpose of restricting the usage of a particular resource, is to protect yourself against an unforeseen situation (Unexpected traffic, application gone haywire, endless loops etc...) and avoid creating a resource problems for the other applications accessing said resource.
