Pinned topic BusinessSpace widget... dojox.rpc.Rest... OPTIONS instead of GET?

‏2012-03-12T07:48:10Z |
I'm trying to call Restlet from dojo javascript (within Business Space widget), but for this part of code:
dojo.require("dojox.rpc.Rest");
var restService = dojox.rpc.Rest("http://localhost:9080/SomeApplication");
restService("/something");

I'm getting this error:
..... 127.0.0.1 9080 OPTIONS /SomeApplication/something - 405 487 0 0 http://localhost:9080 .....
where 405 means HTTP Error: Method not allowed

What could be the problem? Why is it called OPTIONS method?

    What's the CE version are you using ? Could you please provide a simple WAR package for us to recreate this issue ?

    From your log, the web container listening port is 9080, I think you might be using WebSphere Application Server instead of WebSphere Application Server Community Edition. If so, you might want to post this question to WebSphere Application Server forum to get prompt response.
