Pinned topic Condition to determine inlinks outlinks in RPE

‏2012-03-02T05:39:15Z |
Hi,

Is it possible to retrive only Inlinked Objects or Outlinked objects in RPE?

For Example Object 123 of Module X is linked with Module Y(4 outlinks) and Module Z(5 Inlinks).

How to display Objecy 123 in RPE only with Inlinks?

Thanks,
Kasilingam S

    Hi Kasilingam,

In order to extract just the Inlinks you need to use a native filter on the Module.Object.Link query and to specify there the link direction.

For Inlinks the native filter is:

    Link direction in

For Outlinks the native filter is:

    Link direction out

You can see a real example here (page 18-22): http://reportingarena.com/tutorials/using-rational-publishing-engine-with-rational-doors/
