    Likely IBM doesn't run well recently. No one to answer questions. The forum is dying.

    You are running on a G4 which is ancient - I am not even sure whether the latest IBM Java would support that level of CPU at all.

    Here is a link I found on google:

    It suggests that you set an environment variable JITC_PROCESSOR_TYPE to "6". Give that a try and see.
