Pinned topic TWS and TSAMP

‏2012-02-23T20:45:08Z |
ISM contains sample best-practice policies for TWS 8.3 automation for high avialability under TSAM. There isn't any documentation describing the events these policies are tracking and the actions taken when the events are triggered. I was wondering if there is any additional information that would help in describing the operational objectives and funciton of the scripts. If the script author is still around, maybe they could also answer if they would work with v8.6 of TWS.

Thank you!

Have you got a link to the best practice policies you're referring to? Have you looked at the Tivoli Integration Scenarios Redbook?

    http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/abstracts/sg247878.html?Open

Section 25 onwards covers building TSAMP resources and dependencies for handling the TWS processes and refers to the TSAMP policies shipped with DB2 if you're going down the HADR route for it's database too.

This is great, thank you! Appears that it is at least applicable to 8.5.1.
