Pinned topic Writing data back to database from odc tree

‏2012-02-22T16:47:55Z |
Looking to bind values from a odc tree to a database. Anyone point towards some quick help on how to do this?

I have successfully built my tree structure of available values as a tree of checkboxes. I need to read in the values from a series of records and after the user has made his selection write them back out again.

Is there a simple method of binding the data to the various treenodes? Or do I have to trigger something to take the data from the tree and write it back.

Looking for any help or experience before I end up running down blind / dead end routes!

Searching the form for "odc tree submit" results in several examples of how to handle submitting tree data.

Thanks - as per previous post I catch the data client side and write to a hidden field. This field is bound to the database data.
