Pinned topic 6.3 agent install fails with CPF5009 on IBMi

‏2012-02-21T20:46:43Z |
I have received the following messages, when installing the 6.3 common agent ona few of my IBMi LPARs, os version 6.1 and 7.1
CPF5009: Duplicate record key in member SERVICES.
CPF5009: Duplicate record key in member SERVICES.
CPF5009: Duplicate record key in member SERVICES.
CPC2206: Ownership of object QZSHSYSTEM in QTEMP type *USRSPC changed.
CPC2191: Object QDIRAGNT in QGPL type *PGM deleted.
CPC2206: Ownership of object QZSHSYSTEM in QTEMP type *USRSPC changed.
Error: Install director agent did not complete successfully. (126)

I have tried cleaning up the ifs /QIBM/Proddata/,/etc, /tmp/ and /var director entries and delted the CAS Httpsvr, ended and restarted *slp, *CIMOM and subsystem SSHSBS, but still no success.

I am wondering why the install process is not more intelligent about knowing what is on a IBM server.

After multiple e-mails, uninstalls and re-installs here are my notes for CAS cleanups on IBMi.

    Cleanup failing common agent install

    strqsh
    /qibm/proddata/director/uninstallDirAgent.sh
    rm -rf /tmp/director
    rm -rf /www/cas
    rm -rf /QIBM/ProdData/Director
    rm -rf /QIBM/UserData/Director
    rm -rf /etc/ibm
    rm -rf /var/director

F3 to IBM i command line
    DLTLIB LIB(QCASNATIVE)
    DLTLIB LIB(QCPMGTDIR)
    DLTLIB LIB(QCPMGTWRK)
    DLTLIB LIB(QCPMGTTMP)
    QSYS/RMVM FILE(QUSRSYS/QATMHINSTC) MBR(CAS)

Do a WRKACTJOB SBS(QHTTPSVR) and make there are no CAS jobs.
Do a NETSTAT option 3 then do an F11 so you see the user column. If there are any ports left out there with user QCPMGTDIR please do a 4 against it and end it.
Do a NETSTAT option 6 then do an F11 so you see the user column. If there are any ports left out there with user QCPMGTDIR please do a 4 against it and end it.

I also ran into an issue with the agent manager ID, which I originally didn't know about, when I did manual installs.
