<?xml version="1.0"?>

<rdf:RDF xmlns:rdf="http://www.w3.org/1999/02/22-rdf-syntax-ns#"
xmlns:foaf="http://xmlns.com/foaf/0.1/"
xmlns:mo="http://purl.org/ontology/mo/"
xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/"
xmlns:exam="http://exam.lu/SW#">

<mo:MusicArtist rdf:about="http://exam.lu/SW#ART69">
<foaf:name>Lady Gaga</foaf:name>
<mo:label>Interscope</mo:label>
<exam:Activity>
<exam:debut>2005</exam:debut>
</exam:Activity>
</mo:MusicArtist>

<mo:Record rdf:about="http://exam.lu/SW#REC123">

<dc:creator rdf:resource="http://exam.lu/SW#ART69"/>
<mo:track rdf:resource="http://exam.lu/SW#T1"/>
<mo:track rdf:resource="http://exam.lu/SW#T2"/>
</mo:Record>

</rdf:RDF>

Why should namespaces be shared ? Illustrate your answer by describing the namespaces used in the above code.
I have no problem to describe these namespaces:
xmlns:rdf="http://www.w3.org/1999/02/22-rdf-syntax-ns#"
xmlns:foaf="http://xmlns.com/foaf/0.1/"
xmlns:mo="http://purl.org/ontology/mo/"
xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/"
xmlns:exam="http://exam.lu/SW#">

What I can't get is why they should be shared ? And what does it mean in the context of RDF/XML ? Please help

    xml is open source language, and it is based on the tags.
    here is not necessary namespace , but we use this for our facility.
