I'm trying to install WAS on Solaris 10. I downloaded the Solaris SPARC zip file, then copied it to my guest VM at the directory /opt/websphere. I then unzipped the file to the same directory. Then, I opened a command line and went to the directory /opt/websphere. I ran the command "./install", and receive the output "bash: ./install: Invalid argument" (I am using the bash shell). Can you explain why this binary is not running? Thank you.

Re: "Invalid argument" message when running "install" binary2012-02-15T16:44:06Z in response to CQY5_Nathan_DeSelmsCan you clarify which version of WAS you are installing? WAS v8 doesn't have an installer; it uses Install Manager. Are you experiencing the problem when installing Install Manager?
