Pinned topic Using N6040 connect to Dell MD3600f

‏2012-02-07T06:38:06Z |
hello everybody, I am new to N6040. Currently i have a problem, we purchased a Dell MD3600f, but seem i cannot see the assigned disk on N6040 using command: storage show disk. What way can connect them? MD3600f can see the N6040 using fiber and assigned disks to it.
thank you!

    You have a N-series shelf attached for the N6040? I don't believe you can attach the MD3600f to the N6040

    Currently we are:
    IBM N6040 <-> SAN Switch <-> IBM V7000

    we now want to:
    IBM N6040 <-> SAN Switch <-> IBM V7000
    <-> Dell MD3600f

    we want N6040 to connect both V7000 and MD3600f.

    Why cannot attach MD3600f to N6040? Sorry I am new to this ><!
