Purify does not support Windows CE. A complete list of supported Windows
operating systems can be found here:

Thank you. I looked at the page and was still left wondering though. The host machine is Windows XP and the Windows CE target code is cross-compiled using the Visual Studio 2005 (with Platform Builder) compiler (for download to an ARM processor).
I would agree that PurifyPlus won't be supported if Windows CE was the HOST.

It looks like Purify (different to PurifyPlus?) at least used to be compatible with Windows CE back in 1997!
Rational idea is to Purify Windows CE applications

Purify is a dynamic analysis tool. Therefore, it must run
on the target platform in order to detect memory errors and
leaks. Since Purify cannot be installed or run on Windows
CE, the target platform is unsupported.

I guess things change a little in 15 years.

P.S. Note that Purify is a subset of PurifyPlus. PurifyPlus
also includes Quantify (performance profiling) and
    PureCoverage (code coverage).

    Don,
Fair enough I'll think of an alternative to PurifyPlus then.
    Thanks.
