I just got a new Windows 7 machine and want to set up running MQ Explorer 184.108.40.206 under CICS Explorer 220.127.116.11.
I installed CICS Explorer first and then the MQ Explorer. They both run fine separately. I copied everything from the MQ Explorer features and plugins folders to the corresponding CICS_Explorer folders. After restarting CICS Explorer I do not see any of the MQ Explorer views. When I view the Installation Details it does show that MQ Explorer is installed.
Any suggestions on what I can look at to determine what the issue is? Thanks

I expect that the problem is because the Eclipse debug tooling is missing from the CICS Explorer, and because this is required by the MQ Explorer to work then it won't launch. If you look in the .log file in the .metadata directory of the workspace it probably has some entries about missing constraints.
There's a few ways you could get the debug tooling added - one is to download and install the CS1Q support pac into the CICS Explorer which we created exactly for this purpose. It's at https://www-304.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24025486. I wrote a blog entry https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/mydeveloperworks/blogs/JoeWinchester/entry/cics_and_mq_explorer_making_it_all_work_together4?lang=en about how to get MQ and CICS Explorer to work side by side, although some of the feedback I got at the time was that I confused more people than I helped, so let me know if it makes sense.
MQ Explorer 7.1 is a lot easier to get working in the CICS Explorer, and I wrote a blog entry to describe that process https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/mydeveloperworks/blogs/JoeWinchester/entry/mq_explorer_7_1_and_cics_explorer_making_them_work_together47?lang=en which also includes the link to MQ Explorer 7.1. I believe that MQ Explorer 7.1 can connect to older queue managers so hopefully you should be able to use it without any problems iwth your 7.0.1 queuemanagers and, amongst other things, enjoy a cleaner MQ and CICS Explorer co-existence.
Please let us know how you get on, and also any ideas or suggestions you've got for improvements we could make to the CICS/MQ Explorer integration.
