I want to run a telnet command in this format
>telnet $host $port $command
But its showing error
Is there any way I can directly pass a command like "echo <abc>"

Re: Telnet argument passing2012-02-21T16:40:14ZThis is the accepted answer. This is the accepted answer.You cannot pass Telnet commands as arguments, the protocol doesn't allow for it (AFAIK). Why would it, as telnet is supposed to be a way to interact, not process commands in "batch mode".
It would help if you'd state why you're trying to do a batch telnet...you know, solve the problem instead of work on the symptom.
