Pinned topic ISA - WAS Performance Tuning (PTT) tool started a jdbc trace

‏2012-01-11T20:10:57Z |
PTT tool seems like started a jdbc trace on the system.
Is anybody knows how to stop it?

It is not at normal places logs and traces -- nothing in config/cells/cellname/*xml files
Here is info from /opt/IBM/WebSphere/wp_profile/jdbceTrace.log

Hi, I do not think this trace was enabled by PTT.

PTT has "enable trace" function, which facilitate to enable WAS trace during runtime, but it can not change the path of log files. I guess some one may change the settings from admin console.

Thanks for the reply. No body changed anything from admin console. There is no trace strings in any of the possible traces you can enable from the admin console. (We are under freeze until end of this month). The trace file shows same data which is displayed by PTT tool.

Hi, I did not find this file in my test environment.

      Here is my suggestion:
1). find another was environment(you can deploy some sample appliations to have a test) and use the PTT to check if this problem can be reproduced.
2). Check the trace log path to check if it point to that file. if the trace file path was not that one. I guess it may be a application trace.

3). Would you provide more trace content? The PTT never not get any performance data from trace. It only extract data from JMX. Thanks.

I am unable to reproduce the problem.
The only explanation I have is that first time I clicked on "enable trace..." I didn't get any prompt for any selections... and that my have started the trace.
