Pinned topic FileNet support for partitioned Docversion table (CE 5.0)

‏2012-01-05T04:33:54Z |
Hi, I have a question about FileNet support for partitioned Docversion table. I would like to create an object store with a customized schema script which creates Docversion table partitioned by create_date. It is because we are concerned about the required time for reorg command for the table when amount of the contents increases more than millions. Is it supported by CE 5.0 working with DB2? I would like to know if there are any restrictions for customizing object store schema script.

I am wondering if there is IBM representative watching the forum who can clarify the situation. Due to the design chosen for CE database the amount of records in DocVersion and Generic tables is a real issue.

    According to http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27013654

In general, advanced, proprietary technologies from the database vendors such as data encryption or partitioning technologies are not supported unless such support is specifically stated.
