We are using WebSphere JDBC Adapter 184.108.40.206 and having an SQL 2008 R2 connection issue with Window authentication (integratedSecurity=true) on WPS 7 server on a Solaris box (WAS 220.127.116.11 and Process server 18.104.22.168).
We got the JDBC driver from Microsoft (http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=21599) and configured classpath for "sqljdbc4.jar" (must be used with JRE1.6 and later) and setup the native path for "sqljdbc_auth.dll".
Got the following error message during the test connection:
"The test connection operation failed for data source MW_SQLDB_DS on server nodeagent at node WPSNode01 with the following exception: java.sql.SQLException: This driver is not configured for integrated authentication.DSRA0010E: SQL State = 08S01, Error Code = 0. View JVM logs for further details."
Interestingly, the error only happens on the UNIX box. The same configuration on a Local Test Environment (Window XP), the test connection is working just fine.
Appreciate any help !

Re: SQL 2008 R2 connection issue with Windown authen. on WPS 7 (Sun Solaris)2012-01-17T23:45:36Z in response to SystemAdminOK, I found out SQLserver window authentication (integratedSecurity=true) is for window clients, not for UNIX platform. That explains why it run just fine on my local Windows XP Test environment, but not on UNIX.
