Pinned topic FTE system messages priority

‏2011-12-06T14:54:39Z |
Hi,

We have an issue: FTE does not start new transfer from one FTE server to another FTE server, if transmission queue, which used for transferring messages between them, heavily loaded over an extended period of time by other systems (it has messages with non zero priority) because some network channels have low bandwidth. Transmission queue default priority is 0, systems use priority other than 0.

When FTE puts system messages it does not set priority, it uses mqmd.Priority=MQPRI_PRIORITY_AS_Q_DEF. Is it feature or error?
Does anybody have the same issue? Do you have solution for it?

PS
Using custom transmission queue is difficult, because we have 70 Queue Managers and FTE Servers in different regions.
Using FIFO for transmission queue is not good choice.

The priority is configurable - Look in the info center for the fteCreateTransfer -pr attribute

It's transfer priority. It does not influence on transfer initiation, cancel, transfer status, etc. messages.
