Pinned topic Announce: Kolban's Book on IBM BPM

‏2011-12-05T17:41:22Z |

Folks,
I am delighted to announce that there is now a free book on IBM BPM available. This book contains all my written notes on using the product and related technologies. It is as-is and is not to be considered an official piece of documentation from IBM. Rather, it contains my practical experiences while learning and using the products. It may very well contain technical and factual errors and does not represent any explicit statements from IBM about content or future directions.

That all said, many have already found it useful and I hope you will too. The book will be refreshed monthly as a PDF.

I hope you find something useful with. Feedback, comments and areas to cover are very welcome.

The book can be found here:

    Wow! Thank You!

I expect half the questions posted in these forums are answered somewhere in your book. It's like the missing manual for IBM BPM.

    Dear All,

Any thread dumps to attend Lombardi 7.x certification. Currently I am working on version 6.0. I think so no test available in this version.

    Hi there,
The web server on which the book is hosted is a GoDaddy server. Personally, I haven't seen it down myself. Every time I go and check on it, its up and available. I'm looking for a pattern as to when it may be "down". If you have trouble accessing it, let me know the time (and local time zone) when you see it unavailable.

    Thanks Neil
    thanks............
    plz see this
i need a example for the fallowing

I am having 2 parallel activities(human tasks) both having radio buttons Accept & Reject. If both both activities send Accept then request is success.

In order to get 2 radio button values i use simple join it is overiding with new value.
I think other way is using Intermediate message events?(but i am not understanding how to use it.& uca)

So Please provide me sample which demonstrate the above.
i also confused in input and output variables so provide me a sample to understand that tooo

    waiting for reply.......... its urgent
    thanks.

    Hi there,
This thread is really about discussions on the topic of the PDF of notes on IBM BPM. Can I ask you to post a separate thread on individual technical questions about the product?

Hmmmm .... will investigate. This web site is hosted by GoDaddy ... will do some investigating and raise a service ticket with them.
