The fixlist for WAS 7 FP19 includes APAR PM40949 http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=180&uid=swg1PM40949 which supposedly adds support for using MyFaces 2 on WAS 7.
The doc for this APAR points this document instructions on how to set up and configure: http://wiki.apache.org/myfaces/Websphere_Installation
And the above doc says "As of WebSphere Application Server 18.104.22.168, MyFaces 2.0 annotation providers are included as part of the WAS optionalLibraries. A developerWorks article will be available soon with instructions on how to configure these providers."
Can anyone point to said article or other instructions on doing this?

Re: MyFaces 2 on WAS 7 FP192011-11-30T20:21:02Z in response to DaveGannonYou can find a blog entry with instructions on the configuration of JSF 2.0 on WebSphere Application Server 22.214.171.124+ here: http://wasbehindtheglass.blogspot.com/2011/11/myfaces-20-and-websphere-application.html
I just want to note that currently any version of JSF(MyFaces) 2.0 is supported before 2.0.8, we are working on a solution for later versions of MyFaces.
Any questions please let me know.

Re: MyFaces 2 on WAS 7 FP192011-12-22T14:48:16Z in response to PaulNicolucciPaul just wondering when will the solution be available for later versions of Myfaces. The current annotation factory provider like you mentioned only works with my faces 2.0.8 and below. It doesnt work with 2.1.x at all.
thanks in advance.
